Bibliographic Research for PhD Students in Science (a.y. 2025/2026)
Applications are now open for the course “Bibliographic Research for PhD Students in Science”, organised by the Science Library.
The course introduces the main disciplinary databases and search strategies, with a focus on:
- interpretation of bibliometric indicators for research evaluation
- proper citation practices
- Open Access and institutional repositories (e.g. FLORE)
- academic publishing, including predatory journals
- Creative Commons licences
- use of artificial intelligence tools to support bibliographic research
The course is delivered online via Moodle and will be available from 30 March 2026 to 15 December 2026. Participants can obtain 1.5 ECTS credits.
