The PhD in Chemical Sciences at the University of Florence aims to provide advanced training for young people through research activities, including industrial research, supported by specialist courses and seminars held by Italian and foreign experts. The PhD programme aims to train internationally competitive researchers, as required by public, private and industrial research laboratories. In fact, it aims to provide young graduates with the theoretical tools and experimental skills necessary for their scientific training, through an active and continuous process of integrating teaching with laboratory practice and research work. Innovative teaching techniques available at the University of Florence will be made available to doctoral students.
